Silver Alert issued for Avon man

A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared.

The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the disappearance of an adult from Avon, Indiana. Avon is 21 miles west of Indianapolis.

Ronald Eichler is an 70 year old white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 165 pounds, gray hair, and blue eyes.

He was last seen Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 9 p.m. in Avon and is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

He was last seen driving a 1997 white Buick LeSabre with Indiana plate SHN394.
