New Brown County music venue announces first year acts

Brown County’s new Music Center is announcing its first slate of acts. This year’s shows will include Vince Gill, Tesla, Clint Black and George Thorogood.

The 2019 schedule, announced Monday:

  • Saturday, August 24: Vince Gill
  • Saturday, September 7: Tesla
  • Friday, September 20: Clint Black 30th Anniversary Tour
  • Sunday, October 6: Home Free
  • Sunday, October 13: George Thorogood & The Destroyers
  • Wednesday, October 16: Peppa Pig Live!
  • Saturday, October 26: Here Come the Mummies
  • Thursday, December 12: Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox — A Very Postmodern Christmas

The revival of live music in Nashville comes ten years after the Little Nashville Opry burned down. The 2,000-seat music center is off of State Road 46.

Tickets for the first show, featuring Gill and for the Peppa Pig Live! performance, go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. Gill’s concert is set for Saturday, August 24th and Peppa Pig LIve! is Wednesday, October 16th.
