The Cougars captured four courts in straight sets and benefited from a retirement at No. 3 singles to blank the Jets. Daniel Naewedde closed a tight first singles match 7-5, 6-4, Adam Alberring toughed out No. 2 singles, and the Jonathan Naewedde/Reed Roeder duo controlled No. 1 doubles. Both teams move to 10-5 with postseason ladders approaching—plenty of reason for both a purr and a roar.
