Stars Shine Bright, Olympians Fall on Pink Night
In a Hoosier Hills Conference matchup and special evening for a cause, the Bedford North Lawrence Stars defeated Columbus East 45-32 on Pink Night. The event, aimed at raising awareness and funds for breast cancer support through the IWIN Foundation, included a silent auction, pink treats, and other activities.
On the court, the Olympians struggled to keep pace, trailing 31-11 at halftime. Kimberly Carothers led East with 11 points, while Ella Anthis contributed 10. Despite the loss, the evening was a success off the court, with strong community participation in the Pink Night activities.
