Reds Rock Rockies as Francona Hits 2,000 Wins

Terry Francona’s managerial magic hit a milestone as the Cincinnati Reds topped the Colorado Rockies 4–2 to give him his 2,000th career win.

TJ Friedl set the tone with a leadoff homer — his ninth — while Nick Martinez pitched into the sixth to help Cincinnati snag the series. The Reds head into the All-Star break at 50–47, firmly in the hunt thanks to their relentless Big Red Machine mentality.
