Reds Fall in Extra-Inning Heartbreaker

The Cincinnati Reds saw a late lead slip away in Atlanta Thursday night as the Braves rallied for a 5-4 win in 11 innings. Rookie Rece Hinds belted a go-ahead two-run homer in the ninth, and Jose Trevino stayed red-hot at the plate with three doubles and an RBI. Despite Spencer Schwellenbach delivering a quality start over six innings, Atlanta tied it in the ninth and won on a Drake Baldwin walk-off single. The Reds now travel to Houston to begin a weekend series with Nick Martinez taking the mound Friday night.
