Record rewrite: Crimson Pride women unleash 14-goal deluge, pen multiple firsts

Women’s Soccer — IU Columbus 14, Alice Lloyd 0 — Richard Wigh Soccer Complex, Columbus
Program history got a major update in a single sun-splashed afternoon. IU Columbus notched the most goals in a match (14) and the largest win margin ever for either Crimson Pride program, out-shooting Alice Lloyd 67–1 and generating 19 keeper saves from sheer volume. It was a hat-trick hat trick: Lily Campbell (3G/1A), Madalynn Phillips (3G) and Jessica Finfera (3G/1A) each netted three—the first women in school history to do so, and the first time IUC has had three hat-trick scorers in one match.
The scoring crest kept rolling with Rebecca Valdez (2G), Madesyn Sunderhaus (G/A), Ellis Kerns (G) and Madelynn Thangam (G). On the back line, Mallory Gilley and Zoe Bippus combined for a near-quiet clean sheet—just one shot on frame—thanks to a back four that pinched lanes and won every second ball. At 1–2–1, the Pride carry momentum into Sunday’s home date with Eureka (4:30 p.m.).
