Pacers Surge Late, Stun Jazz for Fourth Straight Victory
The Indiana Pacers just keep finding ways to win, and this time, they did it with a fourth-quarter takeover in Salt Lake City. Indiana erased a 12-point deficit late, rallying for a 112-111 victory over the Utah Jazz to notch their fourth straight win.
Pascal Siakam turned up the heat when it mattered most, scoring 10 of his 22 points in the final quarter, including a clutch dunk with 5.1 seconds left to help seal the comeback. Tyrese Haliburton added 18 points, while Obi Toppin and Aaron Nesmith chipped in 13 apiece as Indiana overcame a rough night from beyond the arc (23.8% from three-point range).
The Jazz had a monster rebounding night, winning the battle on the glass 60-37, but Indiana’s defensive pressure forced 19 Utah turnovers, leading to 26 fast-break points—the difference in a game that came down to the wire.
The Pacers (29-20) now shift their focus to another late-night showdown in Portland on Tuesday, looking to extend their winning streak and continue their climb up the Eastern Conference standings.
