Olympians Rally Past Owls for Conference Win

The Columbus East volleyball team shook off a first-set stumble to storm back and defeat Seymour in four sets, 24-26, 28-26, 25-15, 25-13.
The Olympians (2-4, 1-0 HHC) leaned on Anika Jenkins, who powered down nine kills and stuffed six blocks. Addy Dean joined the frontline fun with nine kills and four blocks of her own. In the backcourt, Krea Martin dug a team-high 28 balls, while Chloe Gill served six aces to keep the Owls scrambling.
With Payten Osborn and Kenlee Gault combining for 30 assists, East spread the offense and found its rhythm. Once they seized momentum in the second-set tiebreak, the Olympians never looked back, flying to a key Hoosier Hills Conference victory.
