Olympians Edge Artesians in Four-Set Showdown

Columbus East boys volleyball is finding its groove—and this time, they turned defense into domination. For the second straight night, the Olympians dropped the second set only to take the next two in a 25-17, 22-25, 25-22, 26-24 win over Martinsville at the Orange Pit.
Alex Duncan dished out 36 assists and served up three aces to quarterback the attack. Alex Wenzler tallied 11 kills and three blocks, while Justin Lopez turned away six shots at the net. Jack Smith and Tyler Ernst held down the back row with 13 and 15 digs, respectively.
Now sitting at 6-7, East will try to keep the streak alive tonight as they host Franklin Central at 7:15 p.m.
