Olympian Golfers Fall Short at Shadowood

The Columbus East girls golf team teed it up Monday at Seymour but fell 191-216 to the Owls. Abby King once again played queen of the course for the Olympians, firing a 47, while Emma Gill added a solid 51. Calleigh Gill, Kolby Stephenson, and Sofia Perez rounded out the card, each chipping in determined efforts.

Though the scoreboard tilted toward Seymour, the Olympians showed their swings are sharpening. With each round, they’re building the strokes and confidence they’ll need as the season marches on.
