Moren and Hoosiers’ Socka-Nguemen Bring Home Gold

Hoosier pride shined bright on the world stage as Indiana head coach Teri Moren captured yet another gold medal, guiding Team USA to an 88–76 win over Australia in the FIBA U19 Women’s World Cup final. Moren’s golden touch led USA Basketball through dominant group play and gritty wins over France and Spain en route to the title.
Adding an extra layer of cream and crimson, Indiana newcomer Yohana Socka-Nguemen earned her first gold medal, chipping in valuable minutes and points throughout the tournament. With her fourth gold medal and the respect of her peers, Moren continues to etch her name alongside the greats of international coaching.
As the Hoosiers’ all-time winningest coach and now a back-to-back champion on the international stage, Moren keeps proving that her teams — and her leadership — are truly Never Daunted.
