Mohawks Sweep Jets in Tennis Showdown
Hauser’s boys tennis team faced its first Mid-Hoosier Conference setback of the season Tuesday as the Waldron Mohawks rode a clean sweep, 5-0.
At singles, James Oliver and Joel Bechtel battled but came up short, while Graydon Kilps faced a tough test at No. 3. Doubles teams Kam Blair/RJ Foster and Brady Miller/Jacob Bell hustled to keep volleys alive, but Waldron’s net play proved too sharp.
The Jets, now 10-4 overall and 4-1 in conference, still sit among the league’s contenders and will look to climb back into the win column as the postseason nears.
