Jets Track Finishes Third, Russell and Bruner Dominate in Debut

Hauser’s boys and girls track teams took third place in a tri-meet at Morristown Tuesday, but freshman Addyson Russell made her presence felt in a big way. The newcomer claimed first in the long jump (15-8.75), 100 meters (13.1), and 200 meters (27.3), proving to be a triple threat for the Jets.
In the field events, Luke Bruner brought the heat with victories in both the shot put (43-2.75) and discus (133-10), leading the boys’ squad. Hauser may not have topped the scoreboard, but several athletes showed early-season promise and potential.
