Jets Soar as Sessions Claims Medalist Honors

The Hauser girls golf team took to Timbergate on Thursday, and while the Jets didn’t have the numbers for a team score, they still left their mark on the fairways. Beckah Sessions was steady from tee to green, firing a 55 to earn medalist honors in a five-team showcase.

Fellow Jet Cheyanne Moody added a 58, while Lydia Taylor showed determination with a 71. Edinburgh’s lone competitor, Sophie Pace, chipped her way to a 63. Oldenburg Academy, the only squad with a full lineup, posted a team score of 254 to claim the collective honors.

It may have been a small squad for Hauser, but with Sessions leading the flight, the Jets showed that quality can soar even when quantity isn’t on the card.
