Haliburton’s Heroics Lift Pacers in Wild Game 1 Comeback

The Indiana Pacers pulled off one of the most improbable playoff comebacks in NBA history, rallying from 14 points down with less than three minutes remaining to stun the New York Knicks 138-135 in overtime in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Tyrese Haliburton delivered the game-tying shot at the end of regulation — a long jumper that bounced high off the back rim and dropped through — before finishing with 31 points and 11 assists. Aaron Nesmith was electric from deep, scoring 30 points on 8-of-9 shooting from beyond the arc.
The Pacers outscored the Knicks 13-10 in the extra frame to steal home court. Game 2 tips Friday night at Madison Square Garden.
