Fever Finish Off Storm, Sweep Season Series

The Indiana Fever turned up the heat at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, completing a three-game season sweep of the Seattle Storm with a commanding 95-75 victory.
The frontcourt was on fire as Aliyah Boston bulldozed her way to 27 points and nine rebounds, while Odyssey Sims chipped in 22 points and Kelsey Mitchell added 21. Indiana dominated the glass with a 42-21 rebounding edge, as Lexie Hull helped double up Seattle’s second-chance opportunities.
The win vaulted the Fever (20-18) past both Seattle (20-19) and Golden State (19-18) into sixth place in the WNBA standings, putting them firmly in the playoff mix. What makes the surge even sweeter is that Indiana has done it without Caitlin Clark, who’s been sidelined since mid-July with a groin injury.
Indiana started strong, draining six threes in the first half to build a double-digit lead. Then Boston and Mitchell combined for a knockout third-quarter run that stretched the margin beyond reach. The Fever’s energy and balance turned the Storm’s three-game winning streak into a light drizzle.
With six regular-season games left, Fever Nation can feel the playoff buzz building — and this team looks ready to turn the postseason into a full-blown blaze.
