FEVER FALL FLAT IN ATLANTA AS CLARK REMAINS SIDELINED

The Indiana Fever hit another road bump in the Peach State, falling to the Atlanta Dream 77-58 on Tuesday night. Playing without superstar Caitlin Clark for the fifth straight game due to a quad strain, the Fever just couldn’t find enough offensive firepower to keep pace with a Dream team that caught fire in the third quarter.
Atlanta used a blistering 11-0 run to seize control in the second half, fueled by Allisha Gray’s 23-point performance and backcourt mate Brionna Jones’ season-high 21. The Fever were outscored 23-9 in the third quarter—a frame that turned a close game into a steep uphill climb.
While Indiana’s defense held its own for stretches, the offense sputtered without Clark’s perimeter presence and playmaking. Natasha Howard poured in a double-double effort to lead the Fever, but the supporting cast struggled to hit open looks.
All eyes now shift to Clark’s status for Saturday’s home matchup against the New York Liberty, one of the W’s elite. A healthy return could be just what the Fever need to spark a midseason surge.
