Dog Fight Ends in Victory: Columbus North Softball Nabs Late Win over Edgewood

The Bulldogs battled tooth and nail Thursday night and came away with a gritty 4-3 road win over Edgewood, thanks to a clutch seventh-inning run sparked by an error.
Columbus North jumped ahead in the third on a Morgan Jarvis RBI single, but Edgewood clawed back and tied the game in the fourth on a pair of Bulldog miscues.
Payton Morris plated two runs, Jarvis and Morris were key at the top of the order, and Bailee Scruggs was barking from the circle, striking out eight in a complete-game win while not issuing a single walk.
The Bulldogs welcome Carmel to town on Saturday for their next matchup.
