Cubs Scratch Yankees Behind Imanaga’s Gem

Shota Imanaga tamed the Bronx Bombers, striking out Aaron Judge twice over seven strong innings as the Cubs clawed out a 4–1 win over the Yankees.
Imanaga (6–3) allowed just two hits and kept the Yankees off balance all day, while Michael Busch and Dansby Swanson both went yard to give Chicago plenty of cushion.
With their 57th win, the Cubs enter the break with their best record since 2008 and plenty of momentum to keep roaring into the second half.
