Crimson Pride Scores Back-to-Back NAIA Champions of Character Gold Awards

Columbus, Ind. — For the second straight year, IU Columbus has struck gold — not on the scoreboard, but in character. The Crimson Pride have earned the NAIA Champions of Character Five-Star Gold Award, recognizing excellence in integrity, sportsmanship, and community service.

Now in just their second year as a full River States Conference member, IU Columbus student-athletes have already logged over 15,000 hours of service in Bartholomew County, from mentoring elementary students to volunteering at major community events.

The award underscores that Crimson Pride athletics isn’t just about wins and losses — it’s about building leaders on and off the field.
