Columbus North Baseball Hosts Westfield Tuesday Night

The Columbus North Bull Dogs are back on their home field Tuesday evening, squaring off against the Westfield Shamrocks. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. and the game can be heard live on 1010 WCSI, 98.1 FM, and streaming online.

Senior ace Joey Fry could possibly start for North. Fry has struck out 12 in each of his last three appearances and hasn’t allowed more than two hits in that stretch. The Bull Dogs (7-10) are looking to bounce back after a narrow 2-0 loss to East last Friday.

Westfield enters the contest at 13-8 and is fresh off a 4-0 shutout win over Greenwood Christian. Columbus North defeated the Shamrocks 10-2 in their last meeting back in 2023.

Expect a close contest — four of North’s last five games have been decided by two runs or fewer.
