Colts Double Down on Richardson’s Future
Indianapolis Colts GM Chris Ballard made one thing clear this week — Anthony Richardson is not on the trading block. Despite Daniel Jones being named the starter for Week 1, the Colts insist they’re committed to developing Richardson’s raw talent.
The Horseshoes have been searching for quarterback stability since Andrew Luck’s retirement, cycling through ten different starters. While Jones will run the huddle against Miami on Sept. 7, the organization maintains that Richardson still has a chance to be the franchise cornerstone.
For now, Colts fans can saddle up knowing that all eyes are on the opener at Lucas Oil Stadium, where the Dolphins await.
