CLASS A SHOWDOWN COMING TO YOUR RADIO: CHAMPIONS RADIO NETWORK TO AIR STATE TITLE GAME LIVE FROM PURDUE
Hope and hustle will be on full display under the Friday night lights as the Class 1A IHSAA Softball State Championship takes center stage at Purdue’s Bittinger Stadium—and we’re proud to bring it to you live on the Champions Radio Network, with coverage beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The Clay City Eels (21-6) will try to reel in their first-ever state championship, while the North Newton Spartans (23-3-1) aim to launch a final ambush in their battle-tested campaign. It’s power versus precision, with two of Class A’s stingiest pitching staffs squaring off on the grandest stage.
This matchup kicks off a full weekend slate of softball finals across Indiana, all of which will stream on IHSAAtv.org. Radio listeners across the state can tune in for every pitch, pop-up, and home plate celebration across all four classes thanks to the Champions Radio Network.
The 1A title game leads off Friday evening’s doubleheader, followed by a heavyweight showdown in the Class 4A finale between Crown Point (30-4) and Center Grove (26-3) at 8 p.m. ET.
Then on Saturday, the action continues:
-
2A Title Game at 4:30 p.m. ET: Andrean (23-7) vs. Tecumseh (30-2)
-
3A Title Game at 7 p.m. ET: Hanover Central (18-12) vs. Indianapolis Cathedral (28-2)
So whether you’re a fan of the Spartans, Eels, or just rooting for small-town dreams to come true, don’t miss our radio broadcast this Friday as we ride the wave of championship softball all the way to the final out!
