Clark, Whaley Power Bull Dogs to Comeback Victory at East Central

Columbus North baseball mounted a furious rally at East Central on Tuesday night, overcoming a 9-5 deficit to win 11-9 in extra innings.
Jesse Clark was perfect at the plate, going 4 for 4 with three RBIs, while freshman phenom Jack Whaley launched his third home run in three games as part of a 3 for 5 performance. Macario Mendez added two hits, and Lane Schrader drove in two runs to help seal the deal.
Brock Kintner was lights-out in relief, tossing 4.2 shutout innings to earn the win. The Bull Dogs now stand at 2-1 with serious momentum heading into the heart of their schedule.
