Clark Sidelined with Quad Strain, Fever Face Big Test
Indiana Fever fans received tough news as phenom Caitlin Clark is set to miss at least two weeks with strained left quadriceps. The injury, sustained during Saturday’s narrow 90-88 loss to the New York Liberty, ends Clark’s streak of 44 consecutive games played.
Clark has been electric this season, averaging 19 points, 9.3 assists, and 6 rebounds. While her absence is a blow, the Fever hope their offseason depth additions will keep them competitive. Clark is expected to miss four games, including a June 7 matchup against Chicago and rival Angel Reese.
