Caitlin Clark Edges Closer to Return
Though she didn’t suit up against Seattle, Caitlin Clark is showing signs she may soon be back in action for the Fever.
Coach Stephanie White revealed Clark participated in a walkthrough earlier this week and is ramping up toward live practice.
The goal is to rebuild endurance and handle the full-court physicality that defines the WNBA.
Clark has missed 24 games this season, including the last 15 straight, but her early-season averages (16.5 points, 8.8 assists, 5 rebounds in 13 games) were a reminder of her transformative impact. Off the court, her popularity hasn’t dipped a bit — this week Nike announced her as its newest signature athlete, complete with her own logo.
With Indiana battling for playoff position, Clark’s return could be the spark that takes Fever Fever to a whole new level.
