Bull Dog Nation Welcomes New Girls Golf Head Coach

After 16 years with Scott Seavers steering the program, the Columbus North girls’ golf team begins a new chapter with head coach Alexandra Weisheit. Weisheit, a teacher at Columbus Virtual Academy, spent last season as Seavers’ assistant and has an extensive background in both coaching and playing.

A Terre Haute South graduate and former IHSAA State qualifier, Weisheit played collegiately at Huntington University before earning her master’s degree from Purdue. She has coached at Franklin Community Middle School and assisted with the Junior PGA program at Otter Creek alongside her husband, Andrew.

With Weisheit at the helm, the Bull Dogs are eager to keep their program among the top in the area’s golfing pack.
