Boston Breaks Loose, Fever Douse the Storm in Seattle Stunner

Aliyah Boston was the boss in the Emerald City on Tuesday night, torching the Seattle Storm for a career-high 31 points as the Indiana Fever rode a dominant third quarter to a 94-86 road win and a return to .500 on the season.
While the crowd may have come to see Caitlin Clark, it was Boston who stole the spotlight, scoring with precision in the post and proving once again that the Fever’s frontcourt is a force to be reckoned with. Kelsey Mitchell added 26 points and five triples, including a clutch stretch during Indiana’s 30-19 third quarter run that put the game out of reach.
Despite another tough shooting night from Clark—who finished with six points on 3-of-13 from the field and 0-for-6 from beyond the arc—the Fever showed off their depth and balance. Lexie Hull poured in 15 points and Damiris Dantas chipped in 10, giving Indiana five players in double figures.
The victory halted Seattle’s momentum and silenced a star-studded crowd that included Sue Bird, Megan Rapinoe, and Isaiah Thomas. After trailing early, the Fever found their rhythm midway through the first half and took a 45-39 lead into the locker room before blowing it wide open in the third.
Indiana (7-7) returns home to host the Sparks on Thursday with plenty of spark of their own. Boston has now scored 57 points across her last two games, and with All-Star voting heating up, she’s making a strong case for a starting nod.
