BC39 Roars Back to IMS Dirt Track with Stacked Field of Stars
Racing purists, start your engines—because the grassroots spectacle known as the BC39 returns to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway tonight and Wednesday for a two-night thrill ride on the Dirt Track inside Turn 3.
More than 70 USAC Midget drivers from 18 states and three countries are set to battle it out under the lights for one of the richest prizes on the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship tour—a $20,039 payday and a spot on the event’s legendary winner’s list. Past champions include racing royalty like Kyle Larson, Justin Grant, and Cannon McIntosh, with both Grant and McIntosh returning to attempt to become the event’s first two-time winner.
The BC39 pays tribute to the late Bryan Clauson, a beloved USAC champion and three-time Indy 500 starter. In addition to the main event, fans can enjoy the Stoops Junior Sprint Invitational, featuring the next generation of dirt track stars—including the young Larson siblings, Owen and Audrey.
Tonight’s action begins with hot laps at 6 p.m. and a 30-lap feature at 7. Championship night on Wednesday will feature a 39-lap feature finale. Tickets and full details are available at IMS.com/BC39.
