Ozzie Albies uncorked a two-out solo in the opening frame, rookie Drake Baldwin doubled home Ha-Seong Kim, and Ronald Acuña Jr. snapped an 0-for-25 by singling in Baldwin—all off Shota Imanaga before the lefty settled to retire 16 of 17 and finish six strong.

For Atlanta, Bryce Elder dealt his fourth straight quality start (6.1 IP, 1 ER, 6 K, 1 BB). Tyler Kinley extended his scoreless streak and Raisel Iglesias locked save No. 25. Chicago’s lone tally came on a Matt Shaw sac fly after Nico Hoerner’s hustle. Matt Olson added late thunder with No. 23, a splashdown to seal it. Series continues with Cade Horton vs Spencer Strider.
