Assembly Hall Court Gets Fresh Finish

Indiana University fans will see a polished new look when they walk into Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall this fall. Branch McCracken Court has been refinished ahead of the 2025–26 season, giving the storied floor a fresh shine while preserving its iconic aura.

Since 1971, Assembly Hall has been home to IU hoops tradition, and with a new finish in place, it’s ready to shine under the lights again as the Darian DeVries era tips off November 5 against Alabama A&M. Same court, new season, and the Hoosiers’ faithful will once again get to cheer on their team from one of the most legendary venues in college basketball.
