U.S. 50 Work East of Seymour to Begin Monday

INDOT contractor Milestone Contractors is scheduled to begin intersection improvement work on U.S. 50 East of Seymour starting next week.
The work is scheduled to start on Monday August 18th and will take place between North County Road 1225 E and North County Road 1250 E, located about 1.5 miles east of Seymour.
Motorists can expect the following restrictions at this work area through late October:

-North County Road 1250E Will be closed at U.S. 50.

– Westbound and Eastbound U.S. 50 will have an 11 foot width limit and will have a reduced speed limit of 45 MPH.

This project is part of a $1.9 million INDOT contract awarded to Milestone in January 2024.
Drivers are asked to slow down, use extra caution, and to avoid distractions while traveling in and near work zones.
All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
