Seymour police squelch abduction social media tale

Seymour police are putting the damper on rumors about an attempted abduction in the city.

Post began appearing yesterday about an attempted abduction of a woman in downtown Seymour and warned about human trafficking. The post also said that the attempt was disrupted by Seymour officers.

However, the Seymour Police Department says it has not received any calls from anyone reporting an attempted abduction.
