Seymour police make arrest in child molesting cases
A wanted Seymour man who is facing child molesting charges in two cases is under arrest again after missing a court hearing last week.
According to reports from the Seymour Police Department, a warrant was issued for 22-year-old Tyler J. Fisher after he missed the court hearing Thursday. Fisher was originally arrested in June on a charge of child molesting. After bonding out of jail he was arrested again in early July, in a separate case involving child molesting.
Police received word that he was in the 600 block of Centennial Street Thrusday, where they found, arrested him and took him back to the Jackson County Jail.
Another Seymour man, is being accused of child molesting following an investigation by police.
According to reports from the Seymour Police Department, officers were alerted in early August that a six-year-old that had been molested. After an interview at Susie’s Place, a child advocacy center in Bloomington, police developed a suspect.
On Friday, they located and interviewed the suspect, 33-year-old Jose Ernesto Bonilla Gomez. Gomez was then arrested on a preliminary charge of child molesting.
