Rain Washes Out Reds and Cardinals, Doubleheader On Deck

Tuesday night’s game between the Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Cardinals was postponed due to heavy rain. The two teams will now play a day-night doubleheader today, with Game 1 at 12:40 p.m. and Game 2 at 6:40 p.m.

Brady Singer is set to start the opener for the red-hot Reds, who’ve won five straight. Miles Mikolas goes for the Cardinals in the early game, while Steven Matz will pitch the nightcap. Reds outfielder Austin Hays will miss both games due to a hamstring strain suffered Monday.
