Overdose leads to arrest on drug charges

A Columbus man was arrested on drug charges on Saturday after overdosing.

Columbus police say that they were called to a home on Clifty Drive at just after 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon and found an unconscious man inside. After two rounds of Narcan, the man came to. He was identified as 38 year old William J. Lustig.

While firefighters and medics continued to treat Lustig, police allegedly found narcotics in one of his socks.

After being treated at Columbus Regional Hospital, he was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and of a schedule IV substance.
