North Vernon man accused of domestic violence

A North Vernon man was arrested on felony domestic violence charges after an incident Sunday.

According to the North Vernon Police Department, officers were called to a report of a domestic battery at a home on East O&M Street. Police say that the investigation led them to arrest Alex Pennycuff on a preliminary charge of domestic battery in the presence of a minor.

He was taken to the Jennings County Jail.
