Missing Jennings County Girl Located After 10 Hour Search

A Missing Jennings County Girl was found after a 10 hour search.
On Sunday August 10th, The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a missing 13 year old girl in Sandcreek Township, who was last seen at 9AM.
Search efforts began immediately and involved approximately 150 personnel and utilized Stat Flight Helicopter, Search and rescue K-9’s, drones, kayaks, door to door search teams, and numerous first responder resources.
The girl was briefly entered as a Silver Alert to help broaden the search.
Around 7pm Sunday evening, the girl was finally located safely four miles from her home, after nearly 10 hours missing.
