Gov orders flags lowered to honor fallen firefighters
Gov. Eric Holcomb is ordering flags on state facilities be flown at half-staff on Sunday in recognition of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service. He is also asking businesses and residents to do the same. Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Sunday.
In Columbus, the Robert Stewart Bridge is bring lit red in recognition of fallen firefighters. That color will also stay in place through Sunday, city officials say.
