Deputies arrest three on drug charges in Jennings

Deputies serving a warrant in Jennings County ended up arresting three people.

According to the Jennings County Sheriff’s Department, deputies went to a home on Ascot Court in Country Squire lakes to serve an arrest warrant on 29-year-old Dustin Patterson who was wanted on three felony warrants. He was found to be hiding in a closet at the home. But deputies also noticed drug paraphernalia out in plain view.

Deputies applied for and received a search warrant and recovered more than 70 Fentanyl filled capsules, Methamphetamine, Drug Paraphernalia, packaging material, and digital scales.

The homeowner, Eric Armstrong, was taken into custody as well as another resident, Wendy Forwalt.

All three are facing charges of dealing in and possessing a narcotic, possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia as well as maintaining a common nuisance. Patterson was also arrested on the warrants.
