Countywide Burn Ban Goes Into Effect

At the request of the county fire chiefs, the Bartholomew County Commissioners have signed a countywide burn ban that will go into effect Today.

The ban will remain in effect for 7 days.

If sufficient rainfall occurs throughout today and Wednesday to improve the current conditions enough, the ban may be lifted at that time.
