Brownstown man accused of sex crimes against family member

Seymour police have arrested a 57-year-old man accused of sexually abusing a family member.

According to the police department, officers received information last week that the suspect had inappropriate sexual contact with the victim starting 22 years ago and lasting 11 years.

Police say that they served a search warrant at a Brownstown home and recovered evidence related to the accusations. They arrested 57-year-old Christopher G. Green of Brownstown on Friday on charges including child molesting, incest and vicarious sexual gratification, all felonies. He was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
