Indiana Corn, Soybeans 60% Good to Excellent
In USDA’s weekly Crop Progress report, Indiana corn and soybeans were both rated 60% good to excellent. 11% of both corn and soybeans are rated poor to very poor.
Nationally, corn is rated 74% good to excellent, while soybeans are rated 68%.
55% of Indiana corn has reached silking and 9% are in the dough stage.
57% of Hoosier soybeans are blooming and 25% are setting pods.
Winter wheat harvest in Indiana is approaching completion at 92%.
