Hoosier Ag Today Expands by Adding Veteran Broadcaster
Hoosier Ag Today is expanding to add veteran broadcaster Greg Allen to their team. In his role as content manager, Allen will be heard providing farm news and information on over 70 radio stations in Indiana and over 30 in Michigan on sister network Michigan Ag Today. He’ll also create content for the networks’ websites, HoosierAgToday.com and MichiganAgToday.com, and their social media accounts.
Allen has been in both radio and television broadcasting since 1988. He has a robust radio career that spans Central Indiana and South Florida, including stops at WSAL/WLHM/WHZR-Logansport and WGNR-Anderson, among others.
Allen has extensive video expertise, having worked for Walton Webcasting, the largest webcasting company in the country for livestock shows. He also brings experience from LindellTV and teaching radio and television in the Logansport Community School Corporation.
“Greg is a tremendous talent, and we’re thrilled to have him join us at Hoosier Ag Today and Michigan Ag Today,” says HAT President Eric Pfeiffer. “Having his experience and technical expertise will change the way we communicate to our audience and truly let us meet our listeners/viewers where they are.”
“I’m incredibly excited to start this new venture,” says Allen. “I know this team and their passion for farm broadcasting, and I am ready to add just another element to an already amazing organization.”
Allen joins Pfeiffer, Content & Production Manager Andy Eubank, Assistant News Director C.J. Miller, and Chief Meteorologist Ryan Martin to bring farm news and information via radio and digital outlets in Indiana and Michigan.
