Vaccine clinics on tap for Bartholomew County Health Dept.
The Bartholomew County Health Department will be offering vaccine clinics this week and next.
According to the agency, a Hepatitis A vaccine clinic will be today and tomorrow. They say that Hepatitis A is still spreading in Indiana. It is most often passed when hands are not washed properly and can be passed by touching contaminated food, tables or even a pen.
The Hepatitis A Vaccination Clinic will be at the Bartholomew County Health Department from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Tuesday.
The Health Department will be offering TDAP vaccine clinics from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 25th and Sept. 30. That vaccine protects against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis, or whooping cough.
The Health Department offices are at 2625 Foxpointe Drive in Columbus
