Bartholomew County Health Department offering vaccine clinics
The Bartholomew County Health Department will be offering a vaccine clinic later this month to help you prevent whooping cough and tetanus.
According to health officials, the TDAP vaccine helps prevent both diseases along with diphtheria. Pertussis, or whooping cough, spreads quickly and babies are most at risk. But tetanus can spread into every day cuts and scrapes and can be fatal, once symptoms are apparent.
They urge you to protect yourself, your kids and others in the community with the simple vaccine.
The health department will be hosting TDAP clinics on Sept. 25th and Sept. 30 at their offices on Foxpointe Drive. Those wllb e from 8:30 a.m. to 4 in the afternoon.
