Friday Night Lights, Digital Edition: NFL & PlayVS Launch Season 2 of the Madden NFL Youth Championship
The Madden NFL Youth Championship (MYC) returns bigger and bolder—now open to students in the U.S. and Canada—with a path to the biggest stage in football: a grand-prize trip (winner + parent/guardian) to Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium.
Powered by PlayVS, the MYC puts the two-minute drill into school esports labs and living rooms alike, inviting 13–18-year-olds enrolled in middle or high school to compete free in Madden NFL 26. This year’s bracket offers two ways to qualify for the finals:
-
Open Tournaments (no school team required)
-
Your school’s official PlayVS league (win state/regionals to clinch a spot)
Open Tournament Schedule:
-
Qualifier #1: Nov. 7–9, 2025
-
Qualifier #2: Jan. 9–11, 2026
Each qualifier advances eight players (16 total) to the MYC Finals, where they’ll meet 16 scholastic champs in a 32-player, single-elimination showdown on Jan. 20, 2026 (virtual).
Beyond bragging rights, the MYC builds team-room chemistry in a digital huddle—helping students connect, compete, and grow while gaming the same plays they watch on Sundays.
