Constitution Day to be celebrated at IU Columbus
IU Columbus is planning activities to celebrate Constitution Day next week.
Constitution Day is an American federal observance on September 17th recognizing the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens. IU Columbus has celebrated Constitution Day annually for nearly two decades.
Pamela Morris, the coordinator for the event,. says that participants will be able to make a button, answer trivia questions, and get their own copy of the U.S. Constitution. The event is being hosted by the IU Columbus Division of Liberal Arts, the IU Columbus Division of Education, and the IU Columbus Honors Program.
Constitution Day activities will be going on from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on September 17th in the Columbus Learning Center along the main hallway near the University Library. The center is at , 4555 Central Ave.
