Silver Alert declared for missing New Whiteland man

A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared.

The New Whiteland Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Gadshian Werner, a 70 year old white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 165 pounds, gray hair with brown eyes.

Werner is missing from New Whiteland, Indiana which is 18 miles south of Indianapolis and was last seen on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 8pm.  He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
